It’s been a while since we’ve updated the build blog! If you’ve been following us on Facebook and/or Instagram, you’ve doubtless seen a few pictures, but alas, we’ve prioritized the whole “making” over the “blogging” part for the past few weeks.

But things are moving right along, and we thought we’d show you a few things.

Rapidly nearing completion: Devices 9 and 10 of the April 2018 Build. One supposes we could start giving them serial numbers based on this, but it’s how we track them as we’re going.

Some folks have been surprised that *all* the hardware is handmade and powdercoated.

Above, you can see what it looks like when the feet are on, the case is drilled everywhere it needs to be, the motorhead mounting plate is attached, and so is the hardware for the scotch tension braking system.

It’s harder to see when the hardware is matte black on a matte black background!

Above is how a Device looks with the electrical wiring in place. There’s plenty more work yet to come, but we thought you’d get a kick out of seeing what’s under the acoustic foam!
